The students’ interest in learning about animals and local Dell Cullum’s love of wildlife was the perfect match on Valentine’s Day. Dell is an experienced wildlife handler, wildlife rescuer, and educator, who paid Montauk School a visit to talk about all sorts of different animals that can be found in our area (and some that can’t!). He brought a plethora of his own photography as well as models of the animals being discussed. Our students were so engaged in his presentation that the hour flew by before anybody knew it! We look forward to another visit from him soon, and in the words of Dell Cullum, “wildlife matters!”
